Alarm Monitoring

Monitored alarm systems

What is monitoring and why do I need it? We have all experienced an alarm bell ringing on a house or business premises and no one taking any action. With a monitored alarm system, if your alarm is activated, you or the people you have nominated in your absence (your keyholders) will be notified should your alarm be activated. Different levels of monitoring are available. Along with intruder alarm and panic alarm activation signals, we can monitor signals from fire alarms, medical alerts and open/close reporting which is often used in shops or pubs to inform keyholders if the system has not been turning on at a specific time. Installing a monitored system may reduce the cost of your insurance premium. Check with you insurance provider for further information.

GPRS/GSM Back-up

GRPS/GSM back-up communicators are recommended in case of phone line failure or tampering. Telephone lines often enter buildings overground and have external junction boxes which are a prime targets for burglars who wish to cut the alarms connection to the monitoring station. With a GPRS/GSM back-up communicator your system will not fail to transmit an alarm signal to our station in the event of an alarm activation therefore increasing your security dramatically.

Video Verification

Video verification is a service offered by our monitoring station whereby upon receipt of an alarm signal from the premises, our trained station operators immediately connect to the site and can view live footage from the CCTV cameras on site. The operator can quickly detect a false alarm and follow the procedures set by the client or if indeed there is an intrusion, contact the Gardai and keyholders immediately and stay in direct communication with the Gardai as to the movements of the intruders.

The Benefits of video verification

The operator is viewing live images from the premises and can determine the causes of activations.

False alarms are dealth with promptly and appropriately based on the clients requests.

Prevention of unnecessary damage: Unfortunately, even if an alarm is triggered at the start of a break-in, a burglar may still carry on. Early detection & response from the station can ensure the minimum of damage to your premises.

An immediate response to an intrusion is vital to alert Gardai & keyholders of a verified break-in.

You & your keyholders are kept safe and are not walking into the unknown when responding to an alarm activation in the early hours.
