Is Network Security Solutions a certified company?
Network Security Solutions is an NSAI & PSA accredited company. Our engineers are trained to the highest standards and hold all the necessary industry qualifications.
Will my alarm system be certified?
Network Security Solutions install to European standard EN50131-1 (IS-199). An NSAI certificate will be posted to you following the installation of your monitored alarm.
How long is my warranty period?
The warranty covers parts & labour for the period of your contract from the date of your initial installation.
This is based on systems purchased under 24 or 36 month contracts with monthly direct debit payments.
I don’t have a telephone line! Can I still have this monitored alarm system deal?
YES, we don’t require a telephone line as we use a SIM card to transmit our alarm signalling.
What happens if I have a fault on my alarm?

I accidently set off my alarm but then quickly entered my User Code, should I expect a call from the Monitoring Centre?
The alarm is designed to allow you promptly cancel a false alarm before it sends a signal to the Monitoring Centre. This reduces false alarms.
If there is a power cut, will my alarm still work?
The back-up battery in the alarm panel will work for 6-8 hours.
What do the Panic Buttons on the alarm panel do exactly?
They send a signal to the Monitoring Station that you require Garda, Fire or medical assistance.
Will i own the alarm system?
Yes, once you have paid the agreed system price and completed the term of the contract period you will own the alarm system equipment.
Will the monthly fee increase with inflation?
We have fixed the monthly fee’s from the date of your contract for an agreed minimum period.
What wires will be visible when the alarm is installed?
The alarm panel only one wire which is for power. This will be neatly installed by the engineer.
Why are keyholders important?
Your keyholders may be called to verify an alarm activation. They must know your Password for identification purposes. They may also be required to attend your house with keys if Garda response is required.
I have broadband, will this affect my alarm?
No, we use a sim card so have no interconnection with your telephone or broadband system (based on the iConnect Wirefree alarm system offering)
For older systems where we are connected via telephone line, we add a broadband splitter in order to co-exist with your broadband system.
I need to change my installation date due to unforeseen circumstances.
We require 72 hours notice for a change of installation date. Please give our Customer Service team a call on 1850 918 036.
Can I alarm my house at night?
You can Part Arm the alarm for when you are in bed at night. For example in a 2-storey house the downstairs only would be armed on Part Set.
What is Remote Access?
Remote Access is where you can access your alarm system via your smartphone App (this feature is not available on alarms connected via telephone line). This means that you can SET, UNSET & view HISTORY of the alarm in your house alarm from wherever you are.
Can I change Keyholder details?
Yes, all you need do is contact Network Monitoring on 01 2575888 and quote your approved password or account number.
